We continue to pursue improvements identified in the fall 2022 New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) evaluation team report. To do that as effectively as possible, we’ve written specific areas for improvement into the first draft of our University of Maine System five-year strategic plan. In the plan, we frame those improvements as goals to be achieved by certain dates and with measurable outcomes. In this way, we will fulfill our obligations to our regional accreditor while also building the guidance shared through our nearly-completed comprehensive evaluation process into the fabric of our strategic activity as a System.
