Unified Accreditation Update
As we move into summer, several strands of our unified accreditation work are in progress, including initial work on the first full draft of the Fall 2022 NECHE self study narrative. In related news, the data team for the self study is underway. In the coming months, the team will identify the many types of data needed for the self study; populate a set of “data forms” developed and required by our regional accreditor; and recommend ways to incorporate visual data in the narrative portion of the self study. As part of a parallel effort, a group of assessment experts–including faculty recruited to participate beginning in the fall–will populate an assessment-focused set of forms. The labors of these two groups will be vital to the empirical account we’ll share in the self study about our implementation of unified accreditation and the key strategic initiatives that reflect it.
We will share further updates on the self study later in the summer. We will also post the outcome of our May 2021 NECHE evaluation visit on the Unified Accreditation site when the evaluation process is complete.
