Asymptomatic Screening Activity
The Asymptomatic Screening Dashboard at Together.Maine.edu represents known results on all asymptomatic tests going back to July 22, 2020. About 48 hours passes from the time a test sample is collected and when the results are known.

UMS News
The Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has begun processing a backlog of more than 50,000 positive COVID-19 cases that added nearly 11,000 cases to the official state count on Tuesday, Feb. 15 based on reports of positive test results over the past several weeks. Learn more from the Portland Press Herald. The University of Maine System continues to track a number of metrics, including deaths and hospitalizations, that show that the Omicron surge is easing. UMS will continue to monitor case counts as well, and remain mindful of the important steps our public health partners are taking to address case count backlogs and how they impact daily data reporting.
