14 — Known Cases of UMS students or employees in ME CDC Isolation
- 9 UMaine: 1 new student case and 1 student released from isolation
- 7 UMaine students isolating off-campus
- 2 UMaine students isolating on-campus
- 1 UMF: an adjunct faculty member isolating in the Farmington area
- 4 USM:
- 3 USM students isolating on-campus
- 1 USM student isolating off-campus
There are no known cases at the other University of Maine System universities.
The above Data reflects ACTIVE known cases identified through the UMS asymptomatic screening and other testing venues. When an individual is released from an isolation order by the Maine CDC the active case number shared in the Together for Maine daily update is reduced to reflect that change. UMS is reporting 14 known cases today, the same number as reported in the 9/3/20 update.

The Asymptomatic Screening Dashboard posted at Together.Maine.edu is under redesign to integrate data from new testing partners. We will continue to provide daily updates of our asymptomatic screening data as part of this daily briefing. Data presented here represents known results on all asymptomatic tests going back to July 22, 2020.
About 48 hours passes from the time a test sample is collected and when the results are known.

Reminder — Phase 2 Testing Underway: The University of Maine System is now in Phase 2 of its arrival asymptomatic screening strategy — a planned re-test of all community members (out-of-state students, residence hall students, and special populations) tested in Phase 1.
