13 — Known Cases of UMS students or employees in ME CDC Isolation

- 5 UMaine students isolating on campus
- 5 students isolating off-campus
- 1 UMF: an adjunct faculty member isolating in the Farmington area
- 2 USM: 1 on-campus and 1 off-campus student
There are no known cases at the other University of Maine System universities.
The above Data reflects ACTIVE known cases identified through the UMS asymptomatic screening and other testing venues. When an individual is released from an isolation order by the Maine CDC the active case number shared in the Together for Maine daily update is reduced to reflect that change. UMS is reporting 13 known cases today, the same number of cases reported in the 9/1/20 update.

UMS has now identified 8 positive cases to date through its asymptomatic arrival screening.

UMaine: There are 2 new positive cases at UM that were both identified through the UMS asymptomatic screening. One of the students lives off campus and is isolating in a personal residence. The other student identified today lives on campus and will be isolating in a university facility.
Two UMaine students have been released from Maine CDC directed isolation since yesterday’s data update. Consequently, the number of known active COVID-19 cases at UMaine remains 10 cases as was reported in the 9/1/20 update. Similarly, the UMS total case count remains 13.
