The University of Maine System, and all of its campuses, is dedicated to creating a positive and safe environment for students and employees. In pursuit of this goal, and to be in compliance with guidance and federal laws, we provide trainings around sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and other relevant topics. Trainings created within the University of Maine System include our university policies that reflect the spirit and requirements of currently enacted federal laws.

Required Trainings
Students
As a reminder, all students must take a sexual assault prevention training.
To access the current training, students should log into their MyCampus portal (External Site) with their MaineStreet credentials and click on the Brightspace icon from the LaunchPad. Once in Brightspace, click on the “Interpersonal Violence Prevention Training” listed under My Courses.
Employees
As a reminder, all faculty and staff must take the annual sex-based harassment prevention training.
To access the current training, employees should log into their MyCampus portal (External Site) with their MaineStreet credentials and click on the UMS Academy icon from the LaunchPad. Once in UMS Academy, click on the “Sex-Based Harassment Prevention Training” listed under My Courses.
Volunteers
If you don’t have a MaineStreet account, you can access these trainings by logging into MyCampus (External Site) using the following credentials:
