SWAAC

In 2021, a System-Wide Academic Assessment Committee (SWAAC)  was established, with members from each UMS institution who have a focus on student learning assessment.

• SWAAC’s Charge (External Site): The following broad goals guide efforts to build a stronger culture of assessment within UMS:
  1. Foster a common language with respect to academic assessment.
  2. Identify collaborative ways to assist programs in measuring student learning and implementing change based on the results of the assessment.
  3. Provide input and recommendations on the development of reporting procedures.
