AdvantageU
Students accepted into an Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies program at one of Maine’s seven community colleges qualify for AdvantageU. Once enrolled, and prior to completing 30 credits, sign up for the AdvantageU program by filling out our AdvantageU Participation Form.
General Education Transfer Block
The UMS-MCCS General Education Transfer Block (Word Document) includes at least 34 credits of general education course work, with grades of C- or better in all courses taken from within the Maine Community College System.
Reverse Credit Transfer
A process where academic credits for coursework completed at a university are transferred back to your community college to satisfy Associate degree or Certificate requirements.

Transfer ME is a pathway for Maine Community College System (MCCS) graduates to bypass the traditional transfer admissions process into the University of Maine System (UMS).
