Maine Geospatial Institute at Your Campus
Maine Geospatial Institute (MGI) will have a physical presence on each of the University of Maine campuses. These Project Centers will provide a place for the geospatial technologies community – scientists, researchers, students, educators, industry leaders and other key partners – to connect in person on MGI projects.
Project Centers will be just a part of the opportunities provided for students to apply classroom instruction to “real-world” problems while gaining workplace skills. MGI Project Centers will offer an important service where teams of stakeholders address issues, build relationships, and explore educational opportunities that benefit the geospatial technologies community, the state of Maine, and beyond.
