The University of Maine at Fort Kent has a brand new GIS lab this semester, equipped with 16 state-of-the-art computer stations for students. The new lab was sponsored by a grant to support UMFK Research Learning Experiences. UMFK offers GIS Applications courses, as well as a GIS Minor and GIS Certificate.
