The Citizens to Satellites: Developing an Earth-surface to Space-based Monitoring Framework for Maine program has been funded by a Maine Space Grant Consortium Ideas Lab Seed Grant and leverages resources of the University of Maine System and the Maine Geospatial Institute to build Earth Observation coordination across the State of Maine. The project’s student intern, Mike Packer of the Environmental Geographic Information Systems (EGIS) program based in Machias, created this story map (External Site) to begin illustrating remote sensing projects in Maine.
