What is Repaving MaineStreet? (Link to project website and input form)
The Repaving MaineStreet initiative consists of projects to transition the MaineStreet PeopleSoft® Human Resources (HR) and Financials systems to Oracle Cloud platforms and a reimplementation of MaineStreet PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Student Information System). The overarching goals are to provide:
- Improved MaineStreet experience for everyone!
- Expanded Opportunities for collaboration between campuses and cross-campus access for students.
- Enhanced Consistency to support process improvements and data consistency across all platforms.
The Oracle Cloud project is split into three phases:
- Phase One – Implement the Oracle Cloud HR Recruiting module that will replace Hiretouch, the current UMS employee applicant tracking system. The go-live timeframe is May 2023.
- Phase Two – Implement the Oracle Cloud Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits, Onboarding, Performance Management modules. The go-live timeframe is January 2024.
- Phase Three – Implement the Oracle Cloud General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Financial Planning modules. The go-live timeframe is July 2024.
The Campus Solutions Reimplementation project is in the analysis and discovery phase which will inform the overall project approach and timeline. The project will officially kick off in late fall 2023.

What’s Happened Since the Last Update?
- September 29 – A virtual Town Hall was conducted for Campus Solutions Implementation Discovery session participants.
- October 10-14: David Demers, UMS CIO, held Repaving MaineStreet overview sessions on each campus.
- October 12: Initiated Campus Solutions Reimplementation Discovery sessions that include representatives from academic functional areas, faculty, and students.
- October 31 & November 1: Conducted Initial review sessions of the Oracle Cloud Recruiting and Core HR modules.
Upcoming Milestones
- Early-Late November: The Oracle Cloud Recruiting/Core HR teams will conduct self-guided sessions to identify where system configuration and data adjustments are necessary.
- Early January: The second round of Oracle Cloud Recruiting review sessions will be conducted. This round of reviews will include a broader group of stakeholders.
- November-February: Discovery sessions for the Campus Solutions Reimplementation project continue including dedicated sessions for faculty and students.
