What’s Happened Since the Last Update?
Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) HR project
The HCM project team completed data conversions and application configurations required for the HCM App2.0 Review sessions to begin. These sessions kicked off on November 28 and will run through December 20. The HCM Self-Guided Review sessions will run from January 8 through January 26.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance project
The ERP project team is converting data and applying configurations, including the new Chart of Account structure, that will be demoed during the ERP App2.0 Review sessions for the General Ledger, Cash Management, and Accounts Receivable modules scheduled for December 12 through January 4. The ERP Self-Guided Review sessions will follow each module’s Application Review session.
MaineStreet Campus Solutions (CS) Reimplementation project
After a thorough discovery process, ERP Analysts (ERPA), our CS Reimplementation partner, presented their initial recommendations to improve efficiency, consistency, and support of the UMS in advancing unified accreditation. Recommendation Review Sessions with UMS functional area staff concluded earlier this month, during which ERPA team members provided brief explanations of each recommendation and provided an opportunity for UMS team members to ask clarifying questions and share preliminary feedback.
The project Core Team is developing the framework for reviewing, prioritizing, and deciding on these recommendations. Beginning in January, Evaluation Groups will be formed to thoroughly examine the recommendations, ultimately guiding the Core Team on whether to accept or reject them. These decisions will play a crucial role in shaping the design and project plan.
