How do I know which Early College program is going to be the best fit?
A great place to begin is our Early College webpage, which has general information on the different programs offered by Maine’s Public Universities:
- Concurrent Enrollment: Concurrent enrollment includes courses taught by college-approved high school teachers at the student’s high school.
- Online/On Campus: Students enroll in courses that take place on a college campus or online along with other college students.
- Bridge Academy: The Bridge Academy adds college level courses to Career and Technical Education programming.
Your high school counselor can also help determine which program is the best fit. Each of Maine’s Public Universities has an Early College Administrator who works closely with high school counselors to ensure students are placed in the college courses that best suit their needs.
