Spring Semester Grades

Spring semester grade spreadsheets will be uploaded to ExplorEC between June 5 and June 7. If you do not see your school’s grade spreadsheet by 4:00 pm on June 7, please email jamie.whittemore@maine.edu. We appreciate your patience as we adapt our timelines for this streamlined process.

  • If grades are needed sooner than the above listed date, students can download their unofficial transcript or request an official transcript at anytime using MaineStreet. For directions, visit our Transcript Information Page.
  • If a grade is missing from the spreadsheet, this likely means the instructor has not posted grades in MaineStreet. Students are encouraged to reach out to their instructor to find out when grades will be posted. In these cases students will need to share their grade(s) with their high school counselor by following the directions linked in the first bullet.
  • For more information, visit our Grade Information Page.

Transcripts for Seniors

If you have seniors who are attending colleges outside of the University of Maine System, please be sure they send their official transcripts directly to the college/university they will be attending in the fall.
For more information and instructions, students should visit our Transcript Information Page.

Course Application Reminders and Deadlines

All offices are continuing to accept applications for summer and fall courses. Completed applications are due at least 1 week before the course start date. The deadline for fall full-semester online and on-campus courses is August 20. Learn more about deadlines and completed applications on our ExplorEC Portal Page.

  • Seniors are not eligible for early college courses in the summer semester following their senior year, regardless of course start date or high school graduation status.

Don’t wait until the start of school in the fall to have students apply for courses or approve applications. The majority of fall semester courses begin before high schools are in session, deadlines will be missed, and courses will be full.

  • Completed applications are processed in the order in which they are received on a space available basis.
  • The deadline for completed applications is 1 week before the class start date regardless of whether there are spots available in the class.

Are you a course approver and taking the summer off? Make sure to designate someone at your high school to approve applications while you are out. New approvers can request access to ExplorEC using this link.
