About Your CRA
Sam (she/they) joins the Confidential Resource Advisor team in Maine all the way from Pennsylvania, where they completed a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Sam works to be identity-conscious in her efforts to provide support and prevention education for interpersonal violence by ensuring the outdated cisheteronormative narratives typically seen in this field are no longer influencing their practice. It is Sam’s personal goal to make interpersonal violence prevention education and support services a safer and more inclusive space to seek out for individuals with historically marginalized identities.
Sam is also the CRA for the University of Maine School of Law.
