He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from the University of Maine and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Owen co-founded MedRhythms, a pioneering medical device company that has raised $60 million in venture capital and transformed healthcare using sensors, music, and software to improve walking for those with neurologic injuries. Owen serves on the University of Maine System Board of Trustees and is President of the Board of Directors for the Rural Future’s Fund. He also chaired the board for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, advocating for innovative healthcare solutions.
