About Us
The Office of Equal Opportunity serves the University of Maine System (UMS) community and guests by ensuring equal access to employment and educational opportunities. We do this through outreach, education, training, and complaint resolution, as well as through the advancement of UMS’ nondiscrimination policies by providing guidance and training to the University community on UMS policy and other federal and state nondiscrimination laws.
